STARVISION

Comic book panels & artist clothes

1997

For the launch of the Starvision comic book in 1997, an exhibition was held in Paris of the comic-strip panels together with 'You-Stole-My-Look, a display of the five outfits Starr wore while making the comic. At the opening of the show the outfits were worn by five 'look-a-likes' who attended the exhibition as 'Georgina Starr' doppelgangers.

The exhibition was accompanied by a special musical soundtrack; 4 audio cassettes made by the '4 Daniels'; Ginger Dan, Ernest Dan, Danny Rose and Dan Pussy.

Starr went on to develop a series of larger works which taken from stories in the Starvision comic; Drivin'On, So-Long-Babe, Inside Starrwood and the epic animated musical Tuberama.
